Air Operated Double diaphragm pump plays a inestimable role of many stages of Chemical production & processing, From input of chemical components from tanks through to transporting processed products to the point of distribution, fluid transfer is an essential part of everyday operations in the chemical industry. Whether transferring benign or hazardous material, diaphragm pumps move chemicals safely and efficiently to minimize production downtime.

Run Dry: AODD pumps are able to run dry for an extended time without damage to the pump or its components. It is very common for pumps to run dry, especially in sump dewatering, tanker unloading or tank over applications.

Flow Rate: Air operated double diaphragm pump can be easily adjusted by the diameter and stroke length of the diaphragms used.If we generally look flow rates are up to 238gpm (1,060 lpm), AODD pumps provide a wide range of flows without costly, sophisticated controls. Standard 1:1 ratio AODD pumps can produce pressures up to 125 psi (8.6 bar).

Other ratios, such as 2:1 high-pressure units that can produce pressures up to 240 psi (16.5 bar), are available. High-pressure units are usually used in applications requiring greater force, such as injecting into a pressurized line.

Discharge pressure:Most AODD pumps can operate at any air pressure, typically up to a maximum of 8.6 bar or 125 psi. However, if the actual supply of air flow is hindered, the pump will lose its effectiveness.

No Electricity:AODD pumps require no electricity (rather, they require compressed air to operate) and can be grounded for safe, reliable operation in explosive environments. This is critical when pumping flammable liquids or when a pump is in an environment where fumes are present

Fire Free: Diaphragm pumps are seals-less & have leak free design hence they are suitable for such liquids. Flammable Fluids: Flammable chemicals like acetone, benzene, petroleum etc. that easily catches fire. Therefore AODD pumps are used as they are air driven & intrinsically safe.
